  • DEPOSIT LOCATED IN A LINEAR MASS OF ULTRAMAFIC ROCKS THAT HAS INTRODED A SEQUENCE OF PALEOZOIC META MOROHICS OF THE CALAVERAS GROUP. THE EASTERN CONTACT OF THE ULTRAMAFICS IS COLLINEAR WITH AND PROBABLY PART OF THE MELONES FAULT ZONE.
