Comments on the workings information

  • COUNTRY ROCK IS CHLORITIZED AND SILICIFIED ANDESITC. THE ZONE OF MINERALIZATION RUNS NORTH-SOUTH AND IS PROBABLY THE SAME ZONE AS AT THE NEVADA FAIRVIEW MINE. MANY ENCOURAGING PROSPECTS ARE SAID TO HAVE BEEN FOUND ON THE PROPERTY, MOST OF THEM RUNNING HIGH IN SILVER AND GOLD AND CONTAINING MUCH FREE GOLD. THE MAIN DEVELOPMENT IS A 600-FT TUNNEL RUNNING N 35 DEG E AND A 250-FT SHAFT. SINCE PRE-TERTIARY SCHIST CROPS OUT NEAR THE MINE THE HOST ANDESITE IS CONCLUDED TO BE THIN. THERE MAY, HOWEVER BE ORE DEPOSITS IN THE PRE-TERTIARY ROCKS
