  • THIS PROPERTY IS OPENED BY SEVERAL SHAFTS ON A RHYOLITE PLUG THAT INTRUDES ANDESITE OF TERTIARY AGE. THE MATERIAL ON THE DUMP OF THE LARGEST SHAFT IS BLEACHED AND PARTIALLY SILICIFIED RHYOLITE. SOME OF THE LAST MATERIAL DUMPED IS HORNFELS SIMILAR TO ROCKS EXPOSED ABOUT 3/4 OF A MILE NORTHEAST OF THE SHAFT.
