Deposit VEINS NEAR GRANODIORITE CONTACT. MINE IS IN GRANITE AT MARGIN OF A LIMESTONE WITH VOLCANICS ABOVE OR COVERING THE UPPER EXPOSURES. VEIN MATERIAL -IS HIGHLY OXIDIZED IN PLACES WITH RED IRON OXIDES. CLEAR QUART-Z MATERIAL HAS AG-PB MINERALIZATION IN SMALL CLOTS WITH POSSIB-LE GOLD. LOWER ADIT IS ON A VEIN IN A N85E, 60N SHEAR. SOME OF- THE DUMP MATERIAL LOOKS LIKE ANDESITE INTRUSIVE, BUT THERE IS- NONE IN OUTCROP. SOME OF THE VEIN MATERIAL IS A MIXTURE OF QU-ARTZ AND CALCITE.
Deposit THE MINE WAS ACTIVE IN 1922 1923 WITH C. A. PACKARD, MGR, MGR; SANO CONS. M S. CO. SILVER-LEAD ORE CONTAINING A LITTLE GOLD IS PRESENT IN VEINS IN THE GRANODIORITE NEAR ITS CONTACT WITH LIMESTONE. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT; 3 FIELD OBSERV
