Deposit SEDIMENTARY BEDDING. VANADIUM AND OTHER BASE METALS REPORTEDLY OCCUR IN A LIGHT-GRAY-WEATHERING BLACK SILTSTONE. BLACK CHERT BEDS ARE- ALSO PRESENT IN THE FORMATION. THE SILTSTONE IS CALCAREOUS AN-D IS CUT BY NARROW (1MM) WHITE CALCITE VEINLETS.
Deposit BLACK SHALE DEPOSIT RICH IN VANADIUM AND ZINC, ALSO CONTAINS COPPER, SILVER, NICKEL, BARIUM. METAL CONCENTRATIONS OCCUR IN A STRATIGRAPHIC ZONE ABOUT 35 FEET THICK THAT HAS BEEN TRACED FOR 1000 FEET ALONG STRIKE.
