CERUSSITE AND POSSIBLY HORN SILVER ARE PRESENT, AND WHAT APPEARS TO BE ARGENTITE REPLACES SOME OF THE GALENA." - HILL

THE BATTLE MOUNTAIN VEIN LIES EAST OF THE WHITE AND SHILOH MINE ON THE HILL NORTH OF GALENA, AND WAS DEVELOPED IN PART BY THE LADY BLAIN TUNNEL. PRODUCTION WAS FROM 1880-1885 WITH NO RECORD OF AMOUNT, BUT TOTAL FROM FRENCH CO. GALENA AREA HOLDINGS TOTALLED $4 TO $6,000,000 IN AU, AG PRODUCTION. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT
