GETCHELL IN 1920 FORMED A STOCK COMPANY AND GEGAN THE GETCHELL TUNNEL AND 100-TON FLOTATION MILLS. MINING CONTINUED TO 1967 MORE EXPLORATION WAS DONE TO DETERMINE FEASIBILITY OF REOPENING THE MINE.
