Deposit DEPOSIT ENCOMPASSES THE WEST BED, AND EAST SUTTON BED. PORTIONS OF THESE BEDS WERE FAULTED.
Deposit NORTH SUTTON MINE OPENED BY AN ADIT, 1220 FT. LONG, ON THE WEST BED WITH PARALLEL DRIFTS FOLLOWING THE EAST SUTTON BED. THE NORTH SUTTON MINE IS PART OF THE SAME BELT AS SOUTH SUTTON MINE AND UNCLE SAM WORKINGS. PORTIONS OF THE SUTTON BEDS WERE FAULTED AND MOVED INTO POSITION PARALLEL AND EAST OF THE NORTH SUTTON MINE. SOME ORE FROM THIS PORTION WAS TAKEN OUT FROM THE NORTH SUTTON UNDERGROUND, BUT MOST WAS REMOVED BY SURFACE METHODS FROM THE SUTTON FOOT WALL PIT. NOW UNDER DEVELOPMENT BY UTAH INTERNATIONAL AND IS NOW CALLED SPRINGER MINE WHICH ALSO INCLUDES THE SOUTH SUTTON, UNCLE SAM, BAKER AND ORPHAN MINES. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT; 2 UNPUB REPT
