  • THE DEPOSITS ARE BANDED FISSURE FILLINGS. THE THREE VEINS ARE FROM 4 TO 18 INCHES WIDE AND ALL STRIKE WESTWARD. THE SULFIDE ORE, 100 FEET IN DEPTH IS COMPOSED OF QUARTZ PYRITE, ARSENOPYRITE, CHALCOPYRITE, GALENA, SPHALERITE. POST ORE MOVEMENT ALONG THE FISSURE CONTAINING THE VEINS HAS CRUSHED AND DECOMPOSED THE VEIN & WALLROCK INTO TWO FOOT WIDE ZONES OF SERICITIZED COUNTRY ROCK AND BROKEN MASSES OF QUARTZ AND ORE (EMMONS 1910).
