  • TWO QUARTZ VEINS CUT GRANITE. ONE VEIN STRIKES N55E AND DIPS 75 DEGREES NW, HAS AN AVERAGE WIDTH OF 1 FT. AND IS EXPOSED ON THE SURFACE FOR 250 FT. THIS VEIN CONTAINS A POD OF PYRITE, CHALCOPYRITE, GALENA, LIMONITE, QUARTZ, AND COPPER OXIDES, AND HAS THE HIGHEST RADIOACTIVITY ON THE NORTHWEST WILLY CLAIMS. THE SECOND VEIN STRIKES N85E AND DIPS 70SE, AVERAGES 3 FT. IN WIDTH AND CAN BE TRACED FOR 300 FT. IT IS COMPOSED OF QUARTZ WITH A LITTLE GREEN-COPPER STAIN AT ONE PLACE
