General comments

Subject category Comment text
Deposit MINING ON THE PROPERTY WAS PRINCIPALLY ALONG TWO VEINS. THE VEINS WERE FOUND TO CONVERGE; A CROSS CUT REVEALED SEVEN VEINS CONVERGING ON A SINGLE INTERSECTION POINT, NEAR THE ORIGINAL SHAFT. MINE WAS NEVER WORKED BELOW 75 FEET DUE TO THE WATER LEVEL. WILDHORSE GROUP CONSISTS OF 5 LODE MINING CLAIMS THAT HAVE BEEN ACTIVELY MINED FOR 14 YEARS ON A SMALL SCALE (1959-1973) BY CLAYTON MENDHAM. EARLY PROSPECTING OCCURRED IN WILD HORSE CANYON IN 1908 BUT NO SHIPMENTS MADE. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT; 2 UNPUB REPT
