Deposit LAKE-BED GRAVELS
Deposit WORKED BY HAULING ANCIENT LAKE-BED GRAVELS BY TRUCK TO WATER 2 MILES AWAY. IN 1939 A DRY-BANK PLANT WAS INSTALLED. THE LARGEST YEARLY PRODUCTION WAS FOR 1939 & 1940 WITH PLACER MINING OPERATIONS ON THE JANKS GROUP OF CLAIMS AND THE RIO SECO CLAIMS. PRODUCTION CONTINUED INTERMITTENTLY FROM 1943 TO 1963. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT; 2 UNPUB REPT; 3 FIELD OBSERV
