Deposit MAIN WORKINGS ARE ON A 20-FT WIDE QUARTZ VEIN IN GRANODIORITE. VEIN CONTAINS MASSES OF CU SULFIDES AND OXIDES ALONG FRACTURES, AS CLOTS, AND WITHIN THE MATRIX OF A BRECCIA. THESE VEINS ARE REPORTED TO HAVE SOME SILVER MINERALIZATION ALONG WITH THE COPPER, ALTHOUGH NONE WAS OBSERVED. THE ADIT AND THE INCLINE HAVE EXPOSED ONLY A SMALL PART OF THE VEIN. SAMPLE 2980 WAS CUT FROM THE EXPOSED PORTION OF THE VEIN WITHIN THE MAIN ADIT AND INCLUDED CHALCOPYRITE, CHALCOCITE, AND CU OXIDE MINERALS IN A QUARTZ BRECCIA.
Deposit NEW DEAL GROUP OF 7 UNPATENTED CLAIMS (IN 1930'S), FROM WHICH THERE WAS A SMALL PRODUCTION IN THE EARLY DAYS. DEVELOPMENT CONSISTS OF A 200-FT. LONG ADIT AND SCATTERED SURFACE WORKINGS ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT; 2 UNPUB REPT; 3 FIELD OBSERV
