  • GRANODIORITE CONTACT STRIKES ROUGHLY WEST TO SW, AND DIPS 60 TO 70 S TO SE. LIMESTONE IS RECRYSTALLIZED TO MARBLE, CALC-SILICATE ROCK AND TACTITE ADJACENT TO THE GRANODIORITE: TACTITE BODIES ARE DISCONTINUOUS, TABULAR, AND UP TO 400 FT. LONG, AVERAGING 4 FT. THICK. TACTITE BODIES SEEM TO BE SITUATED AT PLACES WHERE THE IGNEOUS CONTACT CLOSELY PARALLELS BEDDING IN THE LIMESTONE.
