| Deposit | SILICIFIED BRECCIA OUTCROP ON N EDGE OF OLD SHAFT, EXPLORED BY SEVERAL PITS AND TRENCHES TO SW AND BY ADITS TO NE.- BRECCIA APPEARS TO BE ALONG A N10 E SHEAR ZONE CUTTING PUNKY,- BANDED RHYOLITE TUFF. THE ROCKS ARE BLEACHED TO TAN AND DULL -OFF-WHITE COLOR AND ARE KAOLINIZED AND LACED WITH CLEAR LAVEND-AR-TINTED QUARTZ VEINLETS, SOME UP TO 1.5 INCHES THICK, VUGGY,- ORIENTED PARALLEL TO THE SHEAR ZONE. SOME SERICITE CLOTS IN V-EIN, ALSO, POSSIBLY, ALUNITE. SOME BRECCIA FRAGMENTS SHOW SLIC-KENSIDES ON SURFACES. BRECCIA MOSTLY CLEAR TO WHITE QUARTZ CEM-ENTED BY QUARTZ. CEMENTING QUARTZ CONTAINS UP TO 50-60 % PYRIT-E AS SPOTS AND CUBES; PYRITE APPEARS TO BE FLOATING IN QUARTZ,- SOME SPHALERITE SEEN, ALSO. |
