Deposit SMALL ORE BODIES OCCUR IN E-W FAULT FISSURES FILLED WITH LIMONITE, TALC, QUARTZ. THERE ARE FOUR DISTINCT, NEARLY PARALLEL VEIN: THE SPANISH, OLD INJUN AND ALTOGETHER VEINS DIP TO THE SOUTH. THE NORTH STAR VEIN DIPS TO THE NORTH AND IS OF A DIFFERENT CHARACTER THAN THE OTHER THREE VEINS IN THAT IT IS A SULFIDE VEIN CARRYING SOME GALENA WITH AG VALUES.
Deposit THE SPANISH VEIN CROPS OUT ON CREST OF BIG INDIAN MOUNTAIN. OLD INJUN VEIN CROPS ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE MOUNTAIN NEAR THE CREST.THE ALTOGETHER VEIN CROPS ON THE NORTH SIDE OF SOME PROMINENT GRANITE CLIFFS ABOUT HALF WAY DOWN THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE MOUNTAIN. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT; 2 UNPUB REPT
