  • DRILLING WAS IN PROGRESS (AIR-TRAC) 3 KM SW OF GREEN MONSTER CANYON IN AUG, 1981. 13 HOLES WERE BEING DRILLED NEAR SOUTH END OF THE AREA, OVER THE RIDGE INTO HEAD OF DRY CANYON. GEOCHEMICAL SAMPLING HAD BEEN DONE RECENTLY. EXPLORATION POSSIBLY FOR BULK-MINEABLE PRECIOUS METAL DEPOSIT.
