  • SAM. 951 WAS COLLECTED AT SE STRIKING ADIT IN THICKLY BEDDED (2-3FT) SILIC. GREY XTALLINE LS. VERTICAL THIN FRACTURES SLIGHTLY OFFSET THE MODERATELY SE DIPPING BEDS CALCITE VEINING IS PREVALENT AND IN BETWEEN THE LS BEDS. THERE IS FE-STAINING, INDICATING, REPLACEMENT MAY HAVE OCCURED ALONG PREFERRED FRACTURES. SILIC LS, GOSSAN & CALCITE VEIN FOUND ON DUMP. SAMPLE 952 WAS FROM ONE OF SEVERAL ADITS & SHAFTS WHICH ARE ORIENTED ALONG A N20E DIRECTION. THESE WORKINGS DIP E & EXPLORE A REPLACED HORIZON IN E DIPPING BED OF LS. THE HORZ. IS CHARACTERIZED BE FE OXS & PERVASIVE SILIFICATION. THE LS BEDS DIRECTLY ABOVE THE WORKINGS ARE HEAVILY VEINED BY CALCITE. LS BRX NOTED ON DUMP. SM AMT OF CUOXS ALSO NOTED.
