Deposit 5 N-TRENDING FISSURES PRESENT IN MINE AREA. A 1-5 FTVEIN ANDSMALL BEDDED REPLACEMENTS IN OR NEAR THE LOWER LIMESTONE IN THE PIOCHE SHALE CONTAIN PB,AG, AND CU MINERALS. URANIUM MINERALS WERE REPORTED IN 1930 AT THIS MINE, BUT SCHRADER (1931) FOUND NONE. HOWEVER, PSITTACINITE (A YELLOW PB-ZN VANADATE) WAS FOUND, AND MAY HAVE BEEN MISTAKEN FOR CARNOTITE.
