General comments

Subject category Comment text
Deposit MINERALIZATION OCCURS AS REPLACEMENT BODIES IN LIMESTONE IN THE LOWER PORTION OF THE PIOCHE SHALE. QUARTZ-GARNET SKARN CONTAINS SULFIDES, LIMONITE AND MNO FILMS. AT THE N END OF THE PROSPECTED AREA, TRENCHES IN UPPER MINERALIZED HORIZONS EXPOSE MASSIVE GOSSAN WITH CU OXIDE STAIN AND SMALL PODS OF FLUORITE. AN OLD SHAFT IN THIS AREA MAY BE THE ONE MENTIONED BY HILL (1916). THE REPLACEMENT HORIZONS EXTEND TO THE NE WHERE THEY HAVE BEEN PROSPECTED ON THE AD CLAIMS OR SCWARTZ AREA. THE ORE ZONES WITHIN THE REPLACEMENT HORIZONS APPEAR TO BE IN AN AREA OF PERSISTENT N30-50E FRACTURING AND ARE ADJACENT TO THE MAJOR NNW-TRENDING FAULTS WHICH OFFSET THE SECTION IN THIS PART OF THE RANGE
Deposit FRAGMENTS OF DENSE, FINE-GRAINED QUARTZ-GARNET SKARN AND HIGHLY ALTERED INTRUSIVE ROCK ARE LOCATED ON TAILINGS DUMPS. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT; 3 FIELD OBSERV
