Deposit THE PROPERTY IS ON A MINOR RIDGE OF FAULTED (BRECCIATED) AND SLICKENSIDED TERTIARY LAKE BEDS. ABRECCIA COMPOSED OF PALEOZOIC SEDIMENTARY ROCKS (JASPER, BARITE, QUARTZ, CERUSITE) CROPS OUT AT THE UPSTREAM END OF THE RIDGE (10-30 FEET WIDE). THIS MATERIAL CONTAINS 60% PB, 2-3 OZ/TON AU, AND UP TO 240 OZ/TON AG. IN THE OUTCROP THE BRECCIA IS FIRMLY COMENTED, UNDERGROUND IT IS LOOSE AND CRUDELY STRATIFIED. A 130 FT. SHAFT, AND A 300 FT. TUNNED PASSING UNDER THE OUTCROP PENETRATES ONLY TERTIARY LAKE BEDS, THEREFORE, THE CAP OF MINERALIZED BRECCIA ON THE RIDGE CREST APPEARS TO BE A RESULT OF FAULTING, OR, PERHAPS MORE PROBABLY FROM A LANDSLIDE. (SCHRADER, 1935, P 38) (SCHRADER, 1912, P 144-5) THE NEAREST KNOWN SIMILAR DEPOSITS OF THIS TYPE ARE 14 MILES TO THE NW (OLD CONTACT) AT THE HICKEY MINE, (SCHRADER, 1912, P 145) ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT
Deposit BRECCIA CONTAINS 60% PB, 2-3 OZ/T AU, UP TO 240 OZ/TON AG
