Deposit THE SILVER ZONE DISTRICT WAS DISCOVERED IN 1802 WHEN SILVER DISCOVERIES WERE MADE. A MINING 'RUSH' ENSUED AS THE SILVER MINES WERE DEVELOPED; A POST OFFICE SERVED THE AREA FOR A YEAR. IN 1917 THIS PROPERTY HAD A SMALL RECORDED PRODUCTION OF SILVER. THE EARLY PRODUCTION IS NOT KNOWN. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT
