Deposit LODE IS IN SILICIFIED LIMESTONE 300 FT. N. OF THE GRANODIORITE CONTACT THE LODE IS 8 FT. WIDE AND DIPS TOWARD THE GRANODIORITE. CARBONATES AND SULFIDES OF COPPER OCCUR AS STRINGERS UP TO A FOOT WIDE IN THE LIME SILICATE MASS
Deposit IN 1916, A SHIPMENT OF 7 1/2 TON OF ORE WAS SENT TO THE GARFIELD SMELTER. IT RAN 14.8% CU, 10.2% FE, 5.05 OZ/TON AG, AND .02 OZ/TON AU. IN 1929 THE MINE PRODUCED AND SHIPPED 400 TONS OF ORE CONTAINING 5.5% CU AND 13 OZ/TON AG. THE 12 FT. BY 12 FT. SHAFT IS SUNK 80 FEET ON THE ORE. THE LODE IS IN SILICIFIED LIMESTONE 300 FEET NORTH OF THE GRANODIORITE CONTACT. THE LODE IS 8 FT. WIDE. BOTH LODE AND BEDDING DIP 70 DEG - 80 DEG S, TOWARD THE GRANODIORITE (SCHRADER, 1935, P 33).
