| Deposit | AFTER CALCITE TEXTURES ARE VERY COMMON. |
| Deposit | WORKINGS EXPLORE NORTHERN PORTION OF SNOWFLAKE VEIN COMPLEX SW OF A N55W, NE DIPPING POST-MINERAL FAULT. THERE ARE SEVERAL MASSIVE WHITE QUARTZ VEINS 2-3 FT WIDE EXPOSED IN A DEEP SHAFT AND STOPE. SUB-PARALLEL VEIN SYSTEMS AND STOCKWORK ZONES LIE ADJACENT TO MAIN VEINS IN ALTERED ANDESITE/LATITE WALLROCK. THE ZONES OF QUARTZ VEINING AND STOCK WORKING EXTEND THE ZONE TO ABOUT 20 FT OR GREATER IN MINABLE WIDTH. QUARTZ VEINS MAKE UP AS MUCH AS 50% OF THE ZONE. THE ANDESITE/LATITE WALLROCK IS SHEARED ON BOTH SIDES OF THE VEIN, MOSTLY PARALLEL TO THE MAIN VEIN ORIENTATION. THE GENERAL TREND OF THE MASSIVE WHITE QUARTZ VEINS EXPOSED IN THE STOPES ARE N-5 TO N15E. THE QUARTZ VEIN MATERIAL FOUND ON THE DUMP IS VERY SIMILAR TO THAT SEEN AT THE SNOWFLAKE QUARRY; IE, BANDED, FISSURE-TYPE QUARTZ OFTEN VUGGY AND IRON-STAINED AND CONTAINING ALTERED ANDESITE FRAGMENTS. MORE PYRITE OCCURS IN THIS VEIN MATERIAL THAN WAS NOTED AT THE SNOWFLAKE MINE. SOME PYRITE IS ALTERED TO LIMONITE. AGAIN, QUARTZ |
