General comments

Subject category Comment text
Deposit WORKINGS EXPLORE AND POSSIBLY PRODUCED ORE FROM FAULT ZONE AND REPLACEMENT BODY ALONG BEDDING PLANE FAULTS. ORE ZONE PROBABLY CONTAINED PRIMARY BASE SULFIDES WHICH WERE HYDRO THERMALLY ALTERED TO GOSSAN, DENSE, SILICEOUS, STAINED WITH FE-MN OXIDES, WEATHERED TO A RESISTANT RIB IN HOST ROCK. SERIES OF WORKINGS FOLLOWS FAULT CONTACT SEPARATING CAMBRIAN PIOCHE SHALE ON THE WEST FROM CAMBRIAN LYNDON LIMESTONE ON THE EAST. MALACHITE COATS MUCH OF THE GOSSAN MATERIAL AT THE SOUTHERN-MOST WORKINGS. SURFACE FRACTURES ARE COATED WITH CRYSTALLINE CALCITE. FARTHER NORTH ARE BRECCIAS CEMENTED BY WHITE QUARTZ. NORTHWARD, THE BEDDING FLATTENS TO ALMOST HORIZONTAL AND STRIKES N20E. ADDITIONAL WORKINGS CONTINUE TO EXPLORE THE N-TRENDING VERTICAL FAULT ZONE.
