Comments on development

  • MOST OF THE PROPERTY LIES IN UTAH. ORE WAS SHIPPED PRIOR TO 1921. IN 1983, KINETIC MINERALS ANNOUNCED PLANS TO MILL DUMP MATERIAL AT THE OFER MINE IN UTAH, ACROSS THE STATELINE FROM THE UTAH SPUR. THEY SAID THEY PLANNED TO SEEK MORE PUMPS IN THE AREA, TOO. IT IS UNKNOWN WHETHER OR NOT THEIR OPERATIONS WOULD INVOLVE THE UTAH SPUR OR NEARBY NEVADA PROPERTIES.

Deposit VEIN HAS A BOLD STRONG OUTCROP WHICH CAN EASILY BE TRACED FOR 1000 FT. VEIN CONSISTS OF BOTH QUARTZ AND SILICIFIED RHYOLITE OR ANDESITE. MOST OF THE VEIN IS BARREN WITH 2 PLACES MINERALIZED: AT ONE PLACE, AN OPEN CUT EXPOSED A SMALL BODY OF HIGH GRADE SILVER ORE, THE SILVER OCCURRING AS SPECKS AND BANDS OF BLACK SULFIDE (ARGENTITE) IN THE QUARTZ.
