Deposit NARROW RIDGE IS UNDERLAIN BY RESISTANT RIB OF QUARTZ AND CALCITE VEIN MATERIAL, QUARTZ AND CALCITE VEIN BRECCIA, BRECCIATED AND VEINED VOLCANIC MOST ROCK. VEIN IS QUITE RESISTANT AND SILICEOUS. CALCITE (BLACK AND WHITE) AND SIDERITE DOMINATE VEIN COMPOSITION IN THE LOWER PORTION WITH INCREASING SILICA TOWARD THE TOP. THE TOP OF THE EXPOSED OUTCROP HAS A RUBBLY "BULL QUARTZ" (MASSIVE TEXTURE) APPEARANCE. THE LOWER CONTACT OF THE EXPLORED VEIN IS EXPOSED IN THE CAVED SHAFT. THE CONTACT APPEARS BRECCIATED AND CONTAINS FRAGMENTS OF ARGILLIZED (KAOLINIZED) ANDESITE. MUCH OF THE VEIN IS COMPOSED OF SUGARY TO MASSIVE WHITE QUARTZ. PODS AND VEINLETS OF BROWN SIDERITE AND WHITE CALCITE ARE COMMON. SOME PORTIONS OF THE VEIN ARE BRECCIATED AND INDEED VEIN MAY JUST BE PART OF A LARGER ZONE OF BRECCIATION. IN FACT, SOME QUARTZ VEIN MATERIAL IN THE AREA IS ITSELF BRECCIATED AND RECEMENTED BY SILICA. ALSO VUGGY, COCKS COMB QUARTZ VEINS ABOUT 1 IN. WIDE CROSSCUT FRAGMENTS CONTAINED IN VOLCANIC
Deposit BRECCIA CEMENTED BY CHACEDONIC QUARTZ. THE FRAGMENTS IN THE BRECCIA ARE ANDESITIC (RELICT PLAGIOCLASE OBSERVED) AND LESSER AMOUNTS OF RHYOLITE. SOME FRAGMENTS SHOW MULTIPLE BRECCIATION TEXTURES AND ALMOST
