  • SHAFT WITH LEVELS AT 271 FT, 500 FT. SHAFT 1500 FT DEEP BY 1922. ALSO A 280 FT. SHAFT.

Comments on development

  • NEWMONT MINING CORP. DID GEOPHYSICAL STUDIES IN 1940'S TO DETERMINE EXISTENCE OF VEIN EXTENSIONS UNDER THE SIEBERT LAKE BEDS TO THE WEST OF THE MAIN MINING DISTRICT. THE SILVER PICK SHAFT WAS THEN REOPENED AND STUDIED AND THE FAULT-VEIN WAS DEVELOPED TO THE SOUTH FOR SEVERAL HUNDRED FEET.
