  • A QUANTITY OF BLACK-MATRIX TURQUOISE WAS SHIPPED FROM THE MINE IN 1909-1910 BY THE CALIFORNIA GEM CO. THE MINE WAS ABANDONED SHORTLY THEREAFTER AND HAS BEEN RENEWED ONLY SPORADICALLY SINCE THEN.
