Comments on the geologic information

  • THERE ARE CAMBRIAN SEDIMENTS FORMING A THIN VENER OVER GRANITIC RKS. THAT HAVE BEEN INTRUDED BY RHYOLITE AND QTZ DIKES, AND VEINS. THE QTZ VEINS SHOW SOME COPPER OXIDES ALONG STRUCTURES THAT ARE HYDROTHERMALLY ALTERED. PROSPECTING IS ALONG OXIDIZED OUTCROPS EXTENDING OVER AREA OF SEVERAL SQUARE MILES. THE MINE SHAFT THAT HAS BEEN TAPPED AS A WATER SOURCE HAS A VERY LARGE DUMP, AND A WIDE RANG OF SULFIDE MINERALS, INCLUDING CHALCOPYRITE IN BOTH LS AND SILTSTONE. MOST OF THE DUMP HAS SULFIDE MINERALS ASSOCIATED WITH QTZ. AND CALCITE VEINS.
