| Deposit | CINNABAR OCCURS AS SMALL CRYSTALLINE VEINLETS AND PAINTY COATINGS IN BRECCIATED ZONES IN THE SILICIFIED HOST ROCK. IT SEEMS TO BE CONCENTRATED ALONG OR NEAR FAULTS. BRECCIATED ZONE IN QUARTZITE, RECEMENTED WITH QUARTZ. OPEN SPACE SURFACES COATED WITH IRON OXIDE. SOME DUMP SPECIMENS HAVE A FINE DUSTING OF CINNABAR SOME HG CL (?) (YELLOW MINERAL-EITHER SB OR HG CL); YELLOW BARITE CRYSTALS IN VUGS. |
