  • TUNNELS RANGE FROM 50 TO 350 FT IN LENGTH. SOME UNDERGROUND WORK HAS BEEN DONE ON EACH OF THE CLAIMS GOLD HILL TUNNEL-309 FT LONG TO THE SOUTH. ON E. SIDE OF SAME CLAIM IS A 100-FT TUNNEL S60W, WITH A 100-FT DRIFT TO THE S. JUNE TUNNEL IS ABOUT 240 FT LONG

Deposit SEVERAL FISSURE VEINS WHICH APPEAR TO REPLACE EACH OTHER HAVE BEEN TRACED AT IRREGULAR INTERVALS FOR MORE THAN HALF A MILE. JUNE TUNNEL CUTS A N 26 E FAULT. E OF FAULT, BEDS CONTAIN MANY SOFT GOLD-BEARING SEAMS. W OF THE FAULT THE QUARTZITE IS FINELY BRECCIATED AND CONTAINS GOLD. THE GROUP CONTAINS AT LEAST 3 FRACTURE ZONES SEPARATED BY AREAS OF RELATIVELY UNDISTURBED QUARTZITE
