Deposit WORKINGS ARE ALONG A SOUTHERN EXTENSION OF THE MOHAWK VEIN IN A PORPHYRITIC LATITE NEAR THE CONTACT WITH THE OLDER RHYOLITE OF COTTONWOOD SPRING. ALTERATION WITHIN AND ALONG THE CONTACT INCLUDES BRECCIATION AND SILICIFICATION AND STRONG IRON-STAINING.
