Deposit TACTITE OCCURS IN SEQUENCE OF CHERT AND ARGILLITE OF PALMETTO FORMATION. SOME VEIN QUARTZ. WITH TETRAHEDRITE OCCURS ON SHAFT DUMPS. TACTITE IS PREDOMINANTLY GARNET WITH NO VISIBLE METALLIC MINERALIZATION.
