Deposit WIDE BRECCIA ALONG VERTICAL SHEAR ZONE IN LIMESTONE AND FISSILE SHALE. UPPER CUT IS IN LIMESTONE; LOWER IN SHALE. BRECCIA IS COMPOSED OF FRAGMENTS OF SILICIFIED LIMESTONE AND SHALE CEMENTED BY QUARTZ WITH SOME CALCITE. THE BRECCIA IS VUGGY, HAS BRIGHT RED CINNABAR IN SOME FRAGMENTS. A FRACTURE CUTTING THE BRECCIA IS LINED WITH A THICK COATING OF MALACHITE AND CALCITE. BRECCIA FOR 1 TO 2 INCHES AWAY FROM FRACTURE IS HEAVY WITH LIMONITE AND DISSEMINATED CINNABAR.
