General comments

Subject category Comment text
Deposit MOLYBDENITE (IN FLAKES UP TO 1 CM DIAMETER), PYRITE AND CHALCOPYRITE OCCUR IN A FLAT-LYING ZONE OF QUARTZ VEINLETS NEAR THE PORTAL OF AN ADIT. OXIDIZED VEIN MATTER CONTAINS LIMONITE AND OXIDE COPPER MINERALS. QUARTZ VEINS ARE 1-5 CM WIDE; THE ZONE OF VEINS AND VEINLETS IS UP TO 40 CM WIDE AT THE ONLY EXPOSURE. THE MINERALIZED ZONE CUTS A MEDIUM GRAINED GRANODIORITE AND MAY PARALLEL ITS INTRUSIVE CONTACT WITH DARK METAVOLCANIC ROCK LOCATED 25 M TO THE NORTH.
