Deposit TWIN WORKINGS ON SOUTH SLOPE OF HILL; LOWER ADIT DRIVEN NORTH INTO HILL EXPOSES CRUSHED, HORIZONTAL FLOW CONTACT AT PORTAL. ROCK HEAVY WITH MNO AND FE OX. ROCK ON DUMPS IS FE-OXIDE STAINED ALTERED ANDESITE, SOME FLUORITE-BEARING QUARTZ VEIN MATERIAL. UPPER WORKINGS ARE A VERTICAL SHAFT COLLARED IN PINK FLAGGY RHYOLITE FLOW. ROCK ON DUMP FRIABLE, FE-OXIDE STAINED RHYOLITE WITH FLUORITE-QUARTZ VEIN MATERIAL. FLUORITE PRESENT AS CLOTS, SUBHEDRAL MAMMILLARY FRACTURE FILLINGS AND IN VUGS. SOME WHITE CHALCEDONIC QUARTZ PRESENT. SAMPLE 1490 TAKEN FROM HIGH-GRADE PILE BY SHAFT. IN SMALL PIT DOWNSLOPE FROM SAMPLE SITE, A N 40 W, 60 SW SHEAR ZONE IS EXPOSED. BLACK ALTERED HORNFELS ON HANGING WALL, GREEN AND COLORLESS FLUORITE PRESENT IN SHEAR ZONE WITH FE-OX; ZONE 0.5-1.00 FT WIDE, 2 INCHES OF FLUORITE NEAR FOOTWALL. IN PIT ABOUT 20 FT TO THE EAST, WHITE-TAN KAOLINIZED DIKE IS EXPOSED, DIKE VERY FINE-GRAINED, MAINLY QUARTZ (COULD BE PHOYLITE) LIES IN THE FOOTWALL OF THE FLUORITE RICH
