Deposit MASSIVE WHITE CHALCEDONIC QUARTZ VEINS WHICH OCCUR NEAR THE BOUNDARY OF A RHYOLITE DIKE OR PLUG AND GRANODIORITE. GRANODIORITE IS HIGHLY FE OCIDE STAINED AND KAOLINIZED AT THE CONTACT QUARTZ DISPLAYS COCKSCOMB STRUCTURE, AREAS OF QUARTZ AFTER CALCITE. MASSIVE VEIN 2-3 FT WIDE AT SAMPLE SITE 1487 TRENDS N 5 E DIPS 60 E; VEIN IS IN ONE WALL OF A 100-150-FT WIDE RHYOLITE DIKE. WHITE QUARTZ PARALLELS THE WALLS OF THE DIKE, WITH SOME FINE-GRAINED PYRITE IN BANDS IN THE QUARTZ.
