General comments

Subject category Comment text
Deposit SEVERAL QUARTZ VEINS, A FEW CM TO 1 M WIDE, IN RHYOLITE PORPHYRY. TRENCHES CROSS CUT VEINS IN APPARENT ATTEMP TO FIND SOURCE OF VEIN FLOAT. VEINS LARGELY BULL QUARTZ AND BROWN CARBONATE. RHYOLITE PORPHYRY ISSERICITIZED AND CONTAINS OXIDIZED PYRITE, BUT THIS ALTERATION APPEAR TO BE PERVASIVE AND NOT RELATED TO THE VEINS. QUARTZ CONTAINS SPARSE GALENA IN BANDS.
