Deposit QUARTZ, PYRITE, CHALCOPYRITE AND SCHEELITE FILL 1/2 TO 2 INCC FLATLYING JOINTS IN MISSISSIPPIAN PILOT SHALE AND THE CRETACEOUS MONZONITE. THE ORE IS GENETICALLY RELATED TO THE MONZONITE. SOME SUPERGENE ENRICHMENT HAS OCCURRED. THE JOINTING WHICH CONTROLLED ORE DEPOSITION IS PERPENDICULAR TO BEDDING. THE DEPOSIT IS PERIPHERAL TO A BELT OF PORPHRY COPPER DEPOSITS.
