Deposit WORKINGS ARE ON A SMALL QUARTZ VEIN IN GRANITE. BELOW THE WORKINGS IS A WOODEN ORE CHUTE DESIGNED TO LOWER THE ORE DOWN A STEEP DRAINAGE TO THE CANYON FLOOR. LOCAL INTRUSIVE FORMS A BOLD SILICIFIED OUTCROP BEARING ROUGHLY NW. SMALLER ANDESITE INTRUSIVES ARE ALSO PRESENT. SAMPLE 3864 WAS CHIPPED FROM THE VEIN OUTCROP. TO THE SE, A VEIN NEAR A RHYOLITE OUTCROP IN GRANITE WAS PROSPECTED ALONG ITS STRIKE. SAMPLE 3865 CHIPPED FROM THIS VEIN CONTAINED SIMILAR LOW VALUES.
