Deposit MANGANESE MINERALIZATION IS IN AN EASTERLY TRENDING, SILICEOUS, REPLACEMENT ZONE IN GREENSTONE. THE ZONE CAN BE TRACED FOR 40 FEET UP A SMALL RAVINE. IT IS EXPOSED TO A DEPTH OF 10 FEET AND A WIDTH OF 50 FEET IN A ROADWAY TRENCH AT THE JUNCTION OF STEVENS CREEK AND THE SMALL RAVINE. IN THE TRENCH THE MINERALIZATION IS CONTIGUOUS TO A RED, ARGILLACEOUS LIMESTONE ON THE SOUTH AND GRADES INTO GREENSTONE ON THE NORTH.
