Comments on the location information

  • UNSURVEYED. AT PARK CREEK PASS, AT HEAD OF THUNDER CREEK
  • Original coordinates 48-29-58N 120-57-44W fall into Chelan county. Political location is Skagit county. Reporter says 1.7mi NE of Booker Mtn., next to Wyeth Glacier, at Park Creek Pass, head of Thunder Creek, just over the county line (which direction?). In order to fall in Skagit county it must be 1.8 mi away. Possible duplicate record 10131798 does plot in Skagit county by 80 meters but is quite a ways from Park Creek Pass. So the original lat/long was moved a few seconds closer to the head of Thunder Creek to fall in Skagit county. Did not change UTM or PLSS.
