  • MUCH OF THE ORE FROM THE UPPER PORTIONS OF THE MINE WENT OVER $100/TON. CONCENTRATED SULFIDES STATED TO HAVE YIELDED $3000/TON.

Comments on the workings information

  • 250 FT AND 350 FT INCLINES LESSEES WERE PUMPING WATER OUT OF SHAFT. AS OF NOV. 1, 1946, THEY WERE WITHIN A FEW FEET OF 250 FT LEVEL. ORE WAS STOPED OUT FROM 250 FT AND 350 FT LEVELS TO SURFACE FOR DISTANCE OF 700 FT DURING EARLIER WORKINGS.

  • ORE WAS TREATED IN 20 STAMP MILL. CAUSE OF STOPPAGE IN 1874 WAS FLOODING WITH A GREATER VOLUME OF WATER THAN PUMPS COULD HANDLE.
