Comments on the geologic information

  • DEPOSIT IN SMALL PENDANT OF MM ROCK, 21M X 13M X 16M, IN QUARTZ DIORITE AND BIOTITE DIORITE. PENDANT CONSISTS MAINLY OF GARNET-DIOPSIDE TACTITE WITH SUBORDINATE HORNFELS AND SCHIST. PROBABLE COMPLETE REPLACEMENT OF THIN LIMESTONE BEDS. THREE OTHER LARGER PENDANTS OF HORNFELS AND SCHIST WITH MINOR TACTITE OCCUR NEAR THE MINE. NNE-TRENDING PEGMATITE DIKES MORE NUMEROUS THAN AT OTHER MINES IN THE AREA.
