  • DEPOSIT IS IN A SMALL PENDANT JUST E OF A LARGE BODY OF QUARTZ DIORITE. PENDANT CONSISTS MAINLY OF HORNFELS AND SCHIST, WITH TWO PARALLEL THIN BEDS OF MARBLE, STRIKING NW AND DIPPING 65 NE, ONE 5 M THICK AND THE OTHER 2 M THICK. ELEVEN M TO THE NW IS ANOTHER PENDANT, 16 M LONG AND 5 M WIDE, THAT CONTAINS THE SAME TWO MARBLE BEDS. MOST OF THE MARBLE HAS BEEN IRREGULARLY REPLACED BY TACTITE.

Deposit SCHEELITE OCCURS IN TACTITE ON THE SW SIDE OF 2 M THICK BED OF MARBLE AND IN TWO ZONES OF TACTITE WITHIN 5 M THICK MARBLE BED. TACTITE GANGUE CONSISTS MAINLY OF GARNET, TREMOLITE, DIOPSIDE, CALCITE, AND QUARTZ, SCHEELITE-BEARING ZONES ARE ONLY A FEW TENTHS OF A METER WIDE.
Deposit A FEW TONS OF ORE, PROBABLY AVERAGING LESS THAN 0.5% TUNGSTATE, SORTED BUT NOT MILLED IN 1943. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB
