Deposit AG-AU VEINS ALONG FRACTURES IN ANDESITE, ASSOCIATED WITH GRANITIC INTRUSIVE ROCKS. TWO MAIN VEINS. LA BLANCA VEIN: N 50.5 W STRIKE, 50 SW DIP, 1.3-4.0 M WIDE. LA PRIETA VEIN: E-W TREND, MAX. OF 22.5 M IN WIDTH, MINERALIZED IN TWO SECTIONS SEPARATED BY 3-9 M OF BARREN MATERIAL. BEST ORE IN SECONDARY VEINLETS IN SECTIONS UP TO 100 M ALONG THE COURSE OF THE MAIN VEIN. HUGE BONANZA FOUND WHERE VEINS INTERSECT, ABOUT 240 M FROM THE PORTAL OF THE SOCORRO TUNNEL (DESCUBRIDORA MINE). ANGLE BETWEEN VEINS AT INTERSECTION: 51 DEGREES.
