  • CRET. BLUEGRAY MASSIVE LIMESTONE. OFTEN ARGILLACEOUS, BITUMINOUS AND DECOMPOSING. TERTIARY, AUTOSILICIFIED RHYOLITE BRECCIA EXTENSIVELY OVERLYING SEDIMENTS. SULFIDES WERE PRECIPITATED FROM COLLOIDAL STATE.

  • KNOWN ORE NOT ABUNDANT BUT OF GOOD QUALITY AND GRADE. EXTENSION OF TUNNEL MIGHT LEAD TO DISCOVERY OF VERTICAL VEIN. SOME GOOD STOCKWORK IN ONE OF THE CALCAREOUS BEDS MIGHT ALSO BE HOPED FOR.

  • WORKINGS CONSIST OF SHAFT AND TUNNEL, 20 M BELOW THE RHYOLITE, APPARENTLY, FOLLOWING A MINERALIZED BED OF SOFT CALCAREOUS AGGREGATE, CAPPED BY RESIDUAL CLAY. A SMALL FURNACE IN EXISTENCE IS ADEQUATE FOR THE PRESENT.
