  • THE GRANITE HOST IS ALTERED TO A PUNKY,YELLOWISH ARGILLIC MASS ALONG BOTH SIDES OF THE VEIN. WITHIN THE MATRIX OF THE BRECCIA,THE SILICA IS STAINED WITH A REDDISH,FERRIC IRON WHILE THE OPEN SPACES OF THE QUARTZ STRINGERS ARE COMMONLY FILLED WITH LIMONITE.
