  • EXTENSIVE DRIFTING AND STOPING HAS BEEN DONE IN THE SHEAR ZONE ON THE 80-, 125-, AND 180-FOOT LEVELS. IRREGULAR DRIFTING HAS BEEN DONE AT THE DEADWOOD CONTACTS, AND EXPLORATORY DRIFTING AT THE 300-FOOT LEVEL AN IRREGULAR COURSE. SHAFT PENETRATED 200 FT PORPHYRY; A FEW FT OF QUARTZITE (DEADWOOD) & THEN PRECAMBRIAN SCHIST. OVER 4,500 FT OF DRIFTING HAS BEEN DONE.
